Leap Day Jump Start Your Life event (Fundraising Pot Luck Dinner 29 Feb 2012 - details here) - Giving teens from CanTeen and Project K an opportunity to leap out of a plane with a parachute and getting your own excitement for life jumpstarted! My charity this year is JumpStart www.jumpstart.org.nz who are supporting teens from CanTeen (Teenagers living with cancer) and Project K (Maximising youth potential) to do a life-transforming parachute jump in May, 2012. I am fundraising and also volunteering on the day of the jump.

Wow this event I organised and ran was amazing. 165+ women at the New Brew Bar in Albany. 15 great local businesses who were onboard. A fashion show with a difference. Colourful Friday Girls' Night Out at Cafe Toi Toi Muriwai, Auckland
17 June 2011 What a fabulous night MCing this evening along with guest speaker Stephne Vaughan - Colour Coach and myself speaking. The title of my talk originally was "Out of the Winter Blues". In these difficult times for many at the moment, I decided a more apt name was "Get me out of the SHIT - Seriously Hard Inviting me to hide under the duvet Times". In a very fun and memorable way I gave 10 tips that we could learn from the gannets lifestyle at Muriwai in preparation for their long and virgin flight to Australia and related that to how to get through difficult times and reinvent yourself in a more powerful way. Certainly was memorable!! Dancing was fun. Great prizes. People "flew" out with a buzz.
Nerralee the Owner of Cafe Toi Toi asked me to create, MC and speak at an evening which she hoped would create a buzz in her new cafe and bring a sense of community spirit. Nerralee said this, " I would like to say a huge big Thank You again! It was fantastic to have a buzz in the cafe with awesome energy and an abundance of colour. My own observation of the night was this. "I rocked!" Yes I am very happy to acknowledge myself as a dynamic speaker who captivates each individual, who right in those brief moments together begin to experience transformation as I speak. Comments on the way out from people were, "I feel different already." "Yes, I am definitely ringing you to join your Confidence Club." "It was like you knew me and my situation to a 'T'". "You ooze confidence and that's what I'm after." "You soooooo upped the energy of the night."
